The National Statistics Office has issued a new notice for contract-based Coder and Data Entry Operator positions, to handle Coding/Editing and Data Entry of National Economic Census forms.

Position Details – Coder And Data Entry Operator

Job Description

• Coder: Performs coding and data editing of the National Economic Census, 2082 questionnaires.
• Data Entry Operator: Performs data entry of the census questionnaires.

Eligibility – Age Limit

• Coder: Must have completed 21 years of age by the last date of application submission.
• Data Entry Operator: Must have completed 18 years of age by the last date of application submission.

Documents Required With The Application

• Duly filled application form with 1 copy of a passport-size photograph.
• Copy of Nepali citizenship certificate.
• Copy of transcript of minimum educational qualification (equivalency certificate needed for foreign qualifications).
• Copy of transcript of higher educational qualification, if any.
• Copy of experience certificate, if any.
• For Data Entry Operator: copy of computer-related training certificate, if any.

All documents must be self-attested (certified) by the applicant.

Selection Process

• Coder: Shortlisting and Interview.
• Data Entry Operator: Shortlisting, Practical Test and Interview.
• Shortlisting will be done for at least double the required number of vacancies.
• At least 50% of the selected candidates will be women.
• Priority will be given to candidates with prior work experience as an Enumerator or Supervisor in the National Economic Census, 2082.
