NEB Class 12 Result 2083 Date – When Will It Be Published?
NEB has not officially announced the result date yet. Based on the pattern from previous years, the result is expected in the 3rd week of Shrawan 2083 (Around July 30, 2026).
However, if NEB adopts the faster timeline it used for SEE results in 2082/083, it could be published as early as Asar 15, 2083 (June 29, 2026).

NEB provides 5 official methods to check your Grade 12 result. All methods require your Symbol Number (Printed on your Admit Card) and for online methods, your Date of Birth in Bikram Sambat (BS) format.

Method 1: Check NEB Class 12 Result – Online With Mark Sheet (Recommended)
The website neb.ntc.net.np is run by Nepal Telecom and is the most reliable and widely used portal for NEB Grade 12 Results. It shows your complete mark sheet with subject-wise letter grades, grade points and overall GPA.
Step 1: Open The Official Website
- Open your web browser (Chrome, Firefox or Any Browser) and go to neb.ntc.net.np website directly.
Step 2: Enter Your Symbol Number And Date Of Birth
- Type your 8-digit Symbol Number exactly as printed on your Admit Card. Do not add spaces or extra digits.
- Enter your date of birth in Bikram Sambat (BS) Format: YYYY/MM/DD or YYYY-MM-DD. For Example: 2055/06/03.
Step 3: Click Submit And View Result
- Click the Submit button. Your full Mark Sheet will appear with your name, school name, all subject grades, grade points and overall GPA.
Step 4: Download / Print Your Mark Sheet
- Click the Print button or use Ctrl+P to save your Mark Sheet as a PDF. This is an unofficial digital copy – The Official Printed Mark Sheet is distributed by your school.
Important: On result day neb.ntc.net.np receives millions of visits and may load slowly. Wait 10-15 minutes and try again. Using SMS or IVR is faster when websites are overloaded. Never Share your symbol number and date of birth on unofficial websites or WhatsApp/Facebook links.
Method 2: Check NEB Class 12 Result – SMS (NTC & Ncell)
The SMS method works without internet. It is the fastest way to check results when websites are slow on result day. Each SMS reply costs standard SMS rates.

Method 3: Check NEB Class 12 Result – IVR Call 1601
The IVR (Interactive Voice Response) service lets you hear your result over a phone call. This is useful if you do not have mobile data or internet access.
Step 1: Dial 1601
- From any NTC (Namaste/NT) mobile or landline, call 1601.
Step 2: Follow The Voice Instructions
- The automated system will guide you in Nepali. Select the NEB Class 12 result option.
Step 3: Enter Your Symbol Number
- Using your phone keypad, enter your 8-digit symbol number when prompted.
Step 4: Listen To Your Result
- The system will announce your subject grades and overall result verbally.
Method 4: Check NEB Class 12 Result – USSD Dial *1600#
USSD works directly from your NTC SIM card without internet. It is the quickest offline method and works on any basic mobile phone.
Step 1: Dial *1600#
- From your NTC mobile number, dial *1600# and press Call.
Step 2: Select NEB Class 12
- A menu will appear on your screen. Select the option for NEB Grade 12 result.
Step 3: Enter Symbol Number
- Type your 8-digit symbol number and confirm.

How To Download NEB Class 12 Mark Sheet / Grade Sheet Online
The NEB Mark Sheet (Also called Grade Sheet or Transcript) shows your name, school name, symbol number, date of birth, and subject-wise letter grades along with grade points and overall GPA. It is available to download from neb.ntc.net.np after the result is published.
Step 1: Open The Official Website
- Open neb.ntc.net.np and enter your symbol number and date of birth as described above.
Step 2: View Your Result
- After clicking submit, your full mark sheet will appear on the screen.
Step 3: Print Or Save As PDF
- Use your browsers print function (Ctrl+P or Cmd+P) to save the mark sheet as a PDF file. Select Save as PDF as the printer option.
Step 4: Request Official Copy From School
- The printed online mark sheet is an unofficial copy for your reference. Your official NEB mark sheet is provided by your school and can be used for college admission, visa applications and other official purposes.
School Ledger (College-Level Result Check): If you are a school teacher or principal, you can check the entire school/college result ledger at nebadmin.ntc.net.np by entering your institution’s registration number. The school ledger shows pass/fail status and grades for all students registered under your institution.
NEB Grading System – Letter Grades Explained
NEB uses a letter grading system instead of percentage marks. Understanding your grades is important for college admission eligibility.

Class 12 Re-Exam (Chance/Supplementary) Result 2083
Students who received NG (Not Graded) in one or more subjects in the regular Class 12 examination can appear for the Chance (Supplementary) Examination. The re-exam is typically held in Ashoj-Kartik (October–November) of the same year.
Key Facts About The Class 12 Chance Examination
- Students who got NG in up to 2 subjects are eligible for the chance exam.
- The chance exam result is published separately, usually in Mangsir (November-December).
- Result for the 2081/82 Chance Exam – Published on 9 November 2025. Of 1,04,026 students who appeared – 76,367 passed – a pass rate of 73.41%.
- Check the re-exam result using the same method – neb.ntc.net.np or SMS to 1600.
What To Do After Checking Your Class 12 Result
If You Passed (Received Grades In All Subjects)
- Collect your official mark sheet from your school once distributed.
- Apply for bachelors degree programs at Tribhuvan University (TU), Pokhara University (PU), Kathmandu University (KU) or private colleges.
- If planning to study abroad (Australia, UK, USA, Canada, Japan, Korea Etc.), begin your student visa application process. Your NEB certificate is internationally recognized.
- Check entrance exam dates for medical (MBBS), engineering, management and other competitive programs.
If You Did Not Pass (NG In One Or More Subjects)
- Apply for the Chance (Supplementary) Examination through your school. Applications open shortly after result publication.
- If eligible, apply for Grade Briddhi (Grade Improvement) to repeat subjects and improve your GPA.
- Consider retotaling if you believe there was a calculation error.
