In accordance with the Provincial Civil Service Act, 2080 and the Local Civil Service Act, 2081, applications have been received for filling positions at the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers of Lumbini Provincial Government and various local levels. Applications are invited through electronic online medium from candidates who meet the prescribed qualifications for recruitment through inter-level and open as well as inclusive competitive examinations for the following services, groups and sub-groups at Officer Seventh Level (Technical/Non-technical).
Candidates who meet the prescribed qualifications must submit online applications through the Commission’s electronic application system (ppsconline.lumbini.gov.np). The inter-level and inclusive competitive examinations for Provincial Civil Service and Local Civil Service (Technical) will be conducted in an integrated manner once.
Candidates selected through the competitive examination will be recommended to the concerned bodies of the provincial and local levels for appointment according to their order of priority.

The medium of examination language will be Nepali or English or both Nepali and English.
Mode of Application
- Application must be submitted through the Commission’s electronic application system ppsconline.lumbini.gov.np. Detailed description regarding the method/procedure of submitting application is available in the User Manual placed on the same website.
- Candidates must fill the personal details accurately while filling the electronic application and ensure that the details are correct themselves.
- While filling the details, candidates must mandatorily mention their mobile number and email address.
Application Fee
- Application fee of Rs.1000/- (one thousand) must be paid.
- Candidates applying for additional advertisements under inter-level and inclusive groups must pay additional fee at the rate of Rs.400/- (four hundred) for each additional group/paper.
Fee Payment Details
- The form must be filled and submitted through the Commission’s online portal. Before submitting the form, one must ensure that the details filled are not missing and no documents are left out.
- After payment of application fee, no details of the applicant can be changed, so ensure that all your details are correct.
- After ensuring, click on “My Application” among the lists shown in the left side menu and click on “All Application”.
- To ensure whether the advertisement number of the post applied for, inclusive quota, and in case of posts requiring subject selection, the correct subject has been selected or not, click on “View Details”.
- After ensuring the application fee as well, close and click on “Pay”. In case of making online payment, select the “Online Option” on the same page and choose either “Rastriya Banijya Bank” or “Nepal Bank Limited” among the bank options.
- To make payment, click on any one option among Connect IPS, E-Sewa, Khalti, IME Pay alternatives. Then click on “Pay Amount”.
- After that, by entering Username and Password in the selected option, if the details with your name match in online payment, or by directly clicking on Connect IPS and scanning the QR Code, the specified amount (single or double fee as per the specified date) can be deposited.
- In case of depositing by going to the bank, select the “Offline” option, download the voucher, print the voucher and go to the concerned bank within the specified time to deposit the specified amount.
- To view and print the admit card, the Commission will publish a notice after the application deadline expires. For this, your email, Master ID, Username and password must be kept safe.
In case of making online payment, sometimes when there is excessive load on the server, the server becomes slow and the payment may be successful with the amount deducted from the concerned wallet, but the payment status may show as pending on the online portal, so please wait for some time.
If the amount deposited is not shown for a long time, please inform the Commission.
Last Date Of Application
Until 2082/10/02 and by paying double fee until 2082/10/09.
Age Limit
- According to prevailing law, for posts in civil service, must have completed 21 years of age and not exceeded 35 years by 2082/10/02, in case of women not exceeded 40 years, and in case of health service not exceeded 45 years.
- There will be no age limit in case of permanent employees working in posts of federal civil service, civil service of all provinces, and local service of all local levels.
Needed Documents
- Candidates submitting applications must fill all the details as required and scan both front and back sides of their citizenship, recently taken passport size photo and signature in JPG format.
- And other documents such as certificate of minimum educational qualification required for the post being applied for, in case of candidates applying for inclusive groups, documents showing inclusive details must be scanned as original in PDF format and uploaded at the designated place.
If documents are not uploaded in the Public Service format, the admit card will not be printed, so files must be uploaded in the specified format only.
According to Section 13 of the Provincial Public Service Commission Operation Guidelines, 2077, if the application is not submitted or is submitted in a negligent manner, the application will be cancelled at the time of filing itself and no hearing will be held on applications cancelled later on pretext, so special care must be taken while filling the application form.
